Federal Regulation D limits the number of transactions on Money Market Accounts. A combined maximum of six transfers per month per account can be made by following methods: Online transfers, telephone transfers, preauthorized transfers, ach debits, faxes, money market checks. No more than three of the six allowed transactions per month may be made by check or debit card.
A fee of $25 is assessed for each Money Market Account transaction that exceed the monthly 6 transaction limitation imposed by Regulation D.
