Keeping Your Home
Our goal is to help you stay in your home. If you are experiencing financial hardship and are unable to make your mortgage or Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) payments, we’re here to help. You may be eligible for a range of assistance options. Nordstrom Federal Credit Union offers programs designed to help you manage your mortgage and avoid foreclosure. Potential solutions include:
- You may be eligible to refinance your home, extending the repayment period, and/or reducing the interest, thereby lowering the payments.
- We may be able to modify your loan with us, to make your loan more affordable.
- We may be able to work with you to sell your home and repay your mortgage/Home Equity loan in its entirety. If your home’s value is less than your outstanding Nordstrom FCU loan balance, we may be able to accept less money than you owe and develop a repayment plan for the remaining amount.
Nordstrom Federal Credit Union is willing to explore every possible option, please do not hesitate to contact us. Please call toll free at 800-666-7328.
